Students selected for Internship at Nife Labs Pte. Ltd. through TCE Industry Connect Program

Nireeksha Shetty from 3rd year Computer Science & Engineering and Pooja U Naik from 1st year MBA have been selected for the internship at Nife Labs Pte Ltd for the role of Software Development and Business Development respectively.
Nife Labs is an early stage startup based in Singapore, building the platform for low latency applications (AR / VR, Smart cities etc.). The platform enables real-time use cases and paves the path for edge native applications. Nife Labs Pte Ltd is one of the startup partners of Technical Career Education Private Limited.

“Pathway to HR Excellence”, an LDP for MBAs

Like every year, this year as well, the MBA Department organized a Leadership Development Programme – “Pathway to HR Excellence” for the first year MBAs inviting guest speakers from corporate houses as well as an Alumni guest on 22nd Sep, 2021. The main aim of this programme was to assist students decide their specialization for the upcoming semester. Mr. Ben Subbarao, Head HR at Grassroots, Bengaluru addressed the students on the 4 Horizontals in HR Vertical – Training & Development, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Leadership and Financial Management. He appreciated the 5 new recruits from Sahyadri MBA who joined his team recently and expressed how delighted he was with their performance especially their knowledge in terms of Payroll Administration. Mr. Dheeraj Shetty, GM-HR, JBF Petrochemicals Ltd, Mangaluru threw light on the Employability Skills and how to adopt them in order to excel. He also emphasized on the Technical Skills required by an MBA.
Ms. Harshitha Shetty, Training Manager, Levi’s Strauss, Manipal (Sahyadri MBA Batch 2015-17) expressed her gratitude to Sahyadri MBA as she was placed in Campus at Levi’s Strauss and since then she has seen growth in her career and still in the same company. She emphasized on how her final year Project work fetched this job and encouraged the students to take keen interest in their project.

Campus Recruitment Drive - Semnox Solutions

Semnox Solutions Pvt Ltd. conducted a Pool Campus Recruitment Drive for the Engineering students of 2022 outgoing batch. A 4-member team from Semnox were at the campus to facilitate the recruitment process. Around 100 students participated in the drive and the results are awaited.
