Free Health Checkup and Eye Testing Camp for staff held at Sahyadri

In Commemoration of Teachers Day, Sahyadri NSS Unit and Sahyadri Red Cross Wing in association with Accu-Labs & Lobo's Medi Hub, Mangaluru and Prasad Netralaya, Mangaluru organized "Free Health and Eye Check-up Clinic for all Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff "of Sahyadri on 7th September 2021, Tuesday from 10:00am to 03:00am at First Floor Seminar Hall. More than 124 staff participated in the free camp which offered basic blood tests and eye testing for free and also ECG and other advanced tests at discounted prices.

Sahyadri Congratulates the 19 Indian Medal Winners at Tokyo Paralympics

India ended up winning 19 medals, including 5 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze, to mark its best ever win in Paralympic Games. India's medal count crossed the double-figure mark in a single edition of the Paralympics for the first time in history. Before this, the best for India at the Paralympic Games was a total of four medals, which was registered in two separate editions (1984 and 2016).

Dr. Prabhu addresses CDAC “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Webinar of Govt. of India

Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering addressed the Freedom from Cyber Crimes, a National Level Webinar organized by CDAC as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating 75 years of Independence. The other speakers of the event were Prof. Triveni Singh, IPS, a very popular Cyber Cop and Dr. Kanika Seth, Cyber Law expert and Lawyer practicing in the Supreme Court of India. P R Lakshmi Eswari, Director of CDAC rendered the vote of thanks. Ch A S Murthy, Joint Director and Jagdish Babu from CDAC were present.
