ABC of Business - An Entrepreneurial Talk series for MBAs

Dept. of Business Administration has scheduled an Entrepreneurial Talk series for the purpose of encouraging the entrepreneurial culture among the students. The first session was conducted on 6th September 2021. Mr. Nikhil Noronha, Proprietor - Indies Spirits, alumni of Sahyadri MBA was the Resource person. He spoke about the absence of Entrepreneurial culture in many households and how the future is for Entrepreneurial ventures. The talent of a student if backed by proper guidance could be amplified through the Business plans they do and threw light on the areas in which handholding is required. Mr. Nikhil shared his Entrepreneurial Journey and how ups and downs of the journey have moulded him to be a successful business man. Students were involved in the session and had queries about establishment and maintenance of business in general and about his experience as an Entrepreneur.

Engineering Students selected for Internship at The Startupreneur (Intutainers Business Services Pvt Ltd) through TCE Industry connect Program

Devang Pradeep from 2nd year Electronics & Communication Engineering; Namitha Muraleedharan from 2nd year Computer Science & Engineering and Vikas G K from 3rd year Electronics & Communication Engineering have been selected for the internship at The Startupreneur (Intutainers Business Services Pvt Ltd) for the roles of Content writers and IoT Development intern (Internet of Things) respectively.

The firm specializes in the Education and Digital Transformation sectors, providing the world with a unique experiential technology platform to deliver entrepreneurship, skilling and innovation programs. Dr. Prabhu creates an International Record on Clubhouse

Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering was invited by Vishwavani Club House room to deliver a talk on Cyber Security. The room had the second highest number of users in the world and one of the highest average time of 88:33 minutes, whereas 30 minutes of average time is regarded as good as per clubhouse standards. The talk was of 4:15 hours duration from 7:00 PM to 11:15PM.
The part 2 of the session is scheduled next week. Dr. Ananth Prabhu G got a unique honor for this feat by getting the news about the address published as headlines in the front page of today's Vishwavani all state edition newspaper. The talk was hosted by editor in chief Sri. Vishweshwar Bhat and moderated by Mohan Kumar and Roopa Gururaj. Clubhouse is a social audio app for iOS and Android where users can communicate in audio chat rooms that accommodate groups of thousands of people. Placement and Training - Online Assessment conducted by EPAM

EPAM conducted their first round of online technical assessment as a part of their virtual campus recruitment drive for the Computer Science (CS) Information Science (IS) and Electronics & Communications (EC) engineering students of 2022 outgoing batch. EPAM Systems, Inc., also known as EPAM is a global provider of software engineering and IT consulting services headquartered in Newtown, Pennsylvania, United States. The company has software development centers and branch offices in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
