Placement and Training: 105 Sahyadrians Recruited by Capgemini

A total of 105 Sahyadrians have been recruited by Capgemini through the recently held virtual campus recruitment drive. Niraj R Shetty and Vineet Nayak S from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering have been offered the role of Senior Analyst with a package of INR 7.5 LPA. The remaining 103 students are recruited for the role of Analyst with a Package of INR 4 LPA.
49 students are from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, 36 from the Dept. of Information Science & Engineering and 18 are from the Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Students and Staff Donate Blood at District Blood Bank

Students of MBA and Engineering, teaching and non-teaching staff responded to the request for blood donation from the District Blood Bank managed by Indian Red Cross Society, DK District located at Govt Lady Goschen Hospital, Mangaluru on 9th Sep, 2021 by donating blood to help them meet the increasing demand for platelets and plasma due to COVID-19 and other tropical diseases like Dengue. The event was coordinated by Sahyadri Youth Red Cross Wing and immediately volunteered to donate blood when the IRCS informed that there is a shortage of blood platelets to treat the needy patients due to COVID.

Al Ashqan Babu from 1st year Computer Science & Engineering has been selected for the internship at Cryba Bottles Private Limited as a Digital Marketing Intern.
