Easter is the most important Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Christ, the miracle upon which the Christian faith was founded. However, Easter is preceded by one of the most important event - <strong>Good Friday</strong>, the day on which Christ was crucified. <br/>
Why do Christians call such a dark day as ‘GOOD’? To understand this we need to understand the meaning of Jesus’ death.<br/>
The meaning of Jesus’ death is on the one word ‘RANSOM’. Jesus came to serve and give up his Life as a Ransom for many. Jesus is the ‘Payment’ made to set the people free from the power of sin, as a Ransom for the whole world. <br/>
Jesus died for all - sinners, friends and also for his enemies. This brings us to the word <strong>‘Tetelestai’ which means ‘It is finished’ – The work is done and we have gained victory over sin</strong>. <br/>
