Prof. Mithun Ullal, Department of Business Administration has successfully cleared the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2016 thus qualifying for Lectureship / Assistant Professor.

A Talk on “How to connect Content, Teaching and Requirement” by Mr. Sanjay Sahay, ADGP, Karnataka Police has been organized on 19th April 2017 from 9 am to 10 am in the Ground Floor Seminar Hall.
Mr. Sanjay Sahay belongs to the 1989 batch of the IPS, borne on Karnataka cadre. He has accomplished high degree of professionalism in wide and varied professional assignments and was groomed and refined into an officer who has 360 degree experience of policing tasks, simultaneously maintaining keen interest in all staff functions and a passion for usage of appropriate technology in policing at all levels and in all fields. Important assignments providing immense value addition to his professional persona include:
- Chief of Police of three districts Raichur, Mandya and Chamrajnagar
- SP and DIG in the State CID
- DIG in charge of Finance
- UN Peacekeeping in Kosovo and Sudan
- Additional Commissioner in Bengaluru City
- Head of Police Computerization
- Communications and State Crime Records Bureau

PEOL Technologies Pvt. Ltd. visited Sahyadri to conduct pool campus recruitment drive for the engineering students of 2017 batch. 28 students from pool colleges were part of the recruitment drive. Mr. Hemanth Kumar, Sr. Manager accompanied by Mr. Gautam Kumar, SAP Technical consultant, Mr. Dhiraj & Mr. Ganesh on the recruitment team were at the campus to facilitate the entire recruitment process.
