Session 1: Prof. Prakash Tewari, Dean Academics, KLE Technological University Hubli, facilitated a session on need for OBE and elements of OBE. He explained about Program Outcome (PO) analysis and Graduate attributes in detail. He stressed on the point that multiple solutions have to be drafted for a problem and the best solution has to be selected based on graphical analysis. He said that the Outcome Based Educational (OBE) framework should be designed using a top-down approach whereas the Analysis/Assessment to be done using bottom-up approach to get realistic attainments.
Session 2: Prof Gopalkrishna Joshi, Dean, Curriculum Innovation & Program Assessment, KLE Technological University Hubli, conducted a detailed session on Course Outcomes (COs) and their alignment with the Program Outcomes (POs). In his session, he explained about the various stakeholders and other points to be considered in framing the CO’s and also their mapping with PO’s. The session ended with answering the queries of the participants regarding the CO formation and their attainment grades.

MBA faculty members attended a webinar on “Branding in Post-COVID World: Challenges & Opportunities”, on 29th April, 2020. It was a one-hour session with an engaging conversation between Brand Guru, Mr. Harish Bijoor and Prof. Pravin Mishra, Dean, Vijaybhoomi School of Design, Vijaybhoomi University.
Key Takeaways from the session to understand the contemporary issues in branding amid the Pandemic:
• The economy can be broadly classified as Functional Economy and Celebratory Economy based on the necessities of the commodities, wherein the Celebratory Economy is worst hit during the pandemic, however will revive after 18 months
• Every business should first understand the sectoral impact of COVID-19 as needs & wants sector would take 3 months to be back on its feet, however desire and aspiration sector will be affected for around 8 months
• Cab aggregator business to lose 70% of its revenue for the first 3 months and would take 14-15 months roughly to be back at 100% • If any business is doing well during the Pandemic is that business which comes into your home
• Digitalism is a new religion of this generation, and is the best way to do business as it is booming even during the Pandemic • Adopting to be physical and part digital is a good way to go for education sector
