Umashankar B. S., Dean Academic. He addressed the students saying that training programme helps to understand certain concepts that helps to secure employment and added that it’s not about how much one has scored in the exam but its all about how much we have learnt in our life. As students we should realise the importance of time, and also thanked the chairman Mr. Manjunath Bhandary for taking the initiative to conduct the programme and wished the programme a grand success. He encouraged the students to actively participate in the sessions to follow and enjoy the learning process.

The resource person Prof. Sunney Tharappan, Director, CLHRD stated that the quality of a programme depends on the person who goes through the training. He also added that learning happens only when we have reflections on it. It is not enough to be good; we should be capable of showing it. Learning has no value unless it has an impact on our everyday living. Every student has enough opportunities, and they have to utilize it optimally. The FEEL Employable programme consists of 12 sessions and each session is associated with one concept. This helps students redefine themselves through reinforcement of various areas of one’s own human resource. The strategies employed, the methodology adopted, the techniques used, and the action plan implemented is necessarily meant to promote the students to think in positive lines and feel comfortable with his or her achievements.
