Internship Programme for Final Year Students of Civil Engineering

Students of civil engineering visited a construction site in Mallikatte near Kadri as part of their internship program. Students interacted with the site engineer and gathered useful information especially giving more attention to building components and measurement.

Faculty Members Present Paper in National Conference

Mrs. Sushma V, Assistant Professor and Dr. Vishal Samartha, Professor, Department of Business Administration, presented a paper titled “Smart City, a paradigm shift from profit-motive to people-centric approach for urban development” in a National Conference held at SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru.

• An interactive talk by Dr. Anjana Devi, Professor, Inorganic Materials Chemistry Research Group, Faculty of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany, organised by Academics, Dept. of Research and Dept. of Training along with Rotary Club, Mangaluru will be held on at the Sahyadri Seminar Hall.

The first talk will begin at 11.30 am addressed to the research and other interested faculty on "The Drive Towards Materials Research: Optimization of Passion, Opportunities and Support."

The second talk will begin at 12.30 pm for the students of M.Tech, research co-ordinators from every section and other interested students on "Higher Education and Pursuing Research in Germany: Perspectives and Opportunities."
