Environment Conservation Day Celebration 2017

MBA alumnus receives a recognition Award Karnataka Pollution Control Board of Dakshina Kannada district in collaboration with other various state government departments celebrated environment conservation day at Town Hall, Mangalore. Shri. B. Ramanath Rai, Honourable Minister for Forest ecology & Environment, and Dakshina Kannada district in-charge was the Chief Guest of the occasion. 120 students from 1st year engineering participated in the event accompanied by faculty members, Mr. Prajwal M. (Civil), Mrs. Dolly Sharma (Electronics & Communication), and Mr. Ankith S Kumar (Student Counsellor).

‘New India’ By 2022: Pledge

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Quit India movement, the Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi, has called upon the Indian citizens to imbibe the message of this great political event. He said on August 9 people should take a pledge to contribute something for the nation. He asked every social organization, educational institute, the public sector and others to help in making this movement successful.

Principal Dr. U. M. Bhushi along with the entire Sahyadri fraternity took the following pledge to build a New India by 2022.

Pledge:

“Let Us Together Pledge That By 2022 We Build A New India.

Let us together pledge towards a Clean India

Let us together pledge towards a Poverty free India

Let us together pledge towards a Corruption free India

Let us together pledge towards a Terrorism free India

Let us together pledge towards a Communalism free India

Let us together pledge towards a Casteism free India

Together let us strive whole heartedly to accomplish this pledge for a New India”
