Dhanush R., Maadhavi Suvarna and Sumedha, students of Computer Science & Engineering; Shashanka and Samrudha M. K. Acharya, students of Information Science & Engineering have been selected by SAP Labs in the recently held Campus Recruitment Drive. The Package offered is INR 10 Lakhs Per Annum.
The Scholar@SAP program lets them work for an organization that will open doors for them through a work and study opportunity with SAP. Alongside, they can better their prospects with an M.Tech in Software Engineering from BITS, Pilani, while getting valuable work experience working with an internationally-reputed organization.
Originally known for leadership in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, SAP has evolved to become a market leader in end-to-end Enterprise Application Software, Database, Analytics, Intelligent Technologies, and Experience Management.
Company Specific Training for the Engineering Students
The Company Specific Training for the 3rd Year Engineering students of all branches from the 2021 Outgoing Batch completed the 6th week.

Approximately 300 students attended the training via GoogleMeet.
1st round of Gaming for CapGemini Drive is complete - The GRID Challenge. This round checks the ability of the student to analyse patterns logically. This is a six minute round with the option of answering unlimited questions in a given time.
Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering Bids Farewell to the students of Batch 2020
On a Virtual Platform the Google Meet, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering bade farewell to the students of the outgoing batch of Year 2020 on 13th Aug’2020.
Dr. Rajesha S., Principal, in his inaugural speech stimulated the final year students to build their dream profiles, do higher studies and also to focus on competitive exams, Civil Service exams for a brighter future. He also expressed excellence in their future endeavors. Dr. Pushpalatha K., Head of the Dept. conveyed her wishes for Walkaway Success and Eminence in the students’ career.
A few students namely Bhargavi Bhat, Bharish S. Alva, Prasanna Acharya P., Shetty Darshan and Shreyas Kamath shared experiences of their memorable four years’ journey at Sahyadri and described their feelings over their passing from the institution.
Anvitha Rai, General Secretary-Computer Legends Of Unified Department @ Sahyadri (CLOUDS), read out the Report of the Year 2020. As a part of the Farewell, a virtual Cultural Exravaganza was also exhibited by the juniors namely Shraddha, Jisha, Nidhishree, Jasmi, Sreenidhi and Jenifer to entertain the outgoing students.
All Office Bearers of CLOUDS, staff and students from the final year, 3rd and 2nd year participated in the live-streaming of the Farewell program.

Mr. Iqbal Mohammed is the Chief Guest of the Programme. He is currently the Chairman of Semnox Solutions Private Limited, a company he founded in 2008 in Mangalore. Semnox specializes in providing IT products and solutions to the Leisure and Hospitality industry.
Mr. Iqbal holds a B.Tech Degree in Computer Engineering from NITK-Surathkal. His passion for Software Programming prompted him to join Infosys. After a stint of around 13 years in Infosys handling Fortune 100 clients in the IT services field, he wanted to try something different and subsequently founded Semnox to build products for the Leisure and Hospitality industry.
