Press Meet on “Sahyadri Conclave 2018” held in the Campus
Press Meet on Sahyadri Conclave 2018 was held in Sahyadri Campus. Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman, Bhandary Foundation, Dr. Umesh M Bhushi, Principal and Dr. C K Manjunath, Chief Coordinator was present.
Dr. Bhushi welcomed the gathering. Mr. Manjunath Bhandary spoke about the importance of Sahyadri Conclave and how students can benefit from the event. He highlighted the profiles of the Guests for the conclave - Nobel Laureates, Scientists of International repute, Indian scientists and Technocrats. He also mentioned that students from High School, PUC, UG & PG - Basic Sciences, Engineering and Management would be the participants. Mr. Bhandary also answered questions raised by the reporters. During the Press Meet, the Sahyadri Conclave Brochure was also released.
DGM, NIIT visits Sahyadri
Ms. Swetha Sharma, Deputy General Manager, NIIT visited Sahyadri and interacted with the faculty & staff. She appreciated the developments & achievements of the institution. She addressed the faculty on “Digizens; creating next generation together”. Ms. Sharma presented various avenues available at NIIT to promote skills of the students in order to make them industry ready graduates. She also shared the opportunities of collaboration between NIIT & Sahyadri.
