Sahyadrian wins consolation prize in the National Level Stamp Design Competition.

Mr. M. Vaibhav Shenoy, final year student of Electronic & Communication Engineering has won a consolation prize in the National Level Stamp Design Competition organized by India Post on the theme “Potter’s Wheel”. He has received a scholarship of Rs. 5,000/-, a Certificate as consolation prize and a Letter of Appreciation from the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices.

Student Counsellor invited as Resource Person for first aid training

Mr Ankith S Kumar, Student Counsellor was invited as a Resource Person by Krishna Bai Vasudeva Memorial Degree College, Katapady, Udupi to train their undergraduate students on First Aid Emergency Procedure. Mr Ankith trained the students in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), fracture treatment, first aid for snake bite, epilepsy & stroke, accident emergency response and trauma care.

R Jayaram is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering. He is having 34 years of industry experience and 7 years of teaching experience. His area of expertise is in Geotechnical Engineering. He has published more than 10 journals. He is a life member of ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education) and Reviewer Member for research groups.

• Niba Bhaskar, is from Kasaragod, Kerala. She has completed her schooling as well as her PUC from Chattanchi Higher Secondary School, Kasaragod. Her hobbies are watching sports and Animal Planet. She is aspiring for a government job.
• Sachindra C Shetty, is from Mangaluru. He has done his schooling at Shri Siddhi Vinayaka Residential School, Kundapura, after which he completed PUC from St. Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru. His hobbies are reading and playing cricket. His ambition is to become an entrepreneur.
• Suhas Venkat, is from Bengaluru. He has completed both his schooling as well as PUC from Sharadha Vidhyalaya, Mangaluru. His hobbies are sports, cooking and computer coding. His ambition is to become an entrepreneur.
