Mr. Ajay Prabhu, CEO, Customer Engagement Office, KVP Business Solutions visited Sahyadri, to discuss about the internships and placement opportunities for both Engineering and Management students.

He met the in-house industry and start-up representatives and had interaction for a possible tie-up and Client Engagement Program. He has shown a keen interest in signing an MOU with Sahyadri and to engage more with the student community. Prof. Ramesh K G, Dean-Strategic Planning and Prof. Girish M from the Dept. of Business Administration were present during the discussion.

Prof. Shailesh Shetty S pursued his BE degree from Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil and his Post Graduation from NMAMIT, Nitte. His Area of Expertise includes Machine Learning,Data mining etc. His hobby is playing cricket. He has a passion for writing poetry. He has 8 years of teaching experience at Sahyadri.

Introduction of the Mentees:
• Rithesh Rai K is from Kannur. He pursued his schooling from St. Mary's High School, Bela and PUC from S.AP.H.S.S, Agalpady. His hobbies are playing Cricket, Kabbadi, drawing etc. His aspiration is to excel in the field of Software.

• Shrilakshmi K Rao is from Udupi. She pursued her schooling from Maharaj Agrasen Vidyalaya and PUC from Canara PU College, Mangaluru. She is much more passionate about Craft, drawing, keyboard, tattoo etc. She aspires to be Successful Engineer and serve the Society

• Nikitha S is from Udupi. She pursued her schooling from Glowinstar Integrated School and PUC from Poornaprajna PU College, Udupi. Her hobbies are drawing and reading novels. She aspires to become an artist and a good engineer to solve the societal problems.

• Deeksha is from Panemangalore. She pursued her schooling from Smt Laxmi Devi Narasimha Pai Vidyalaya, Panemangalore and PUC from Sri Venkataramana Swamy PU College, Bantwal. Her hobbies include reading and drawing. She aspires to become a good engineer and earn a name in the software field.

• Allan Joston Fernandes is from Mangaluru. He pursued his schooling from St. Joseph English Medium High School and PUC from St. Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru. He is more interested in playing carrom, watching movies, listening to music and sketching. He aspires to become an effective communicator and also a successful engineer.

• Vaishnavi is from Kasargod. She pursued her schooling and PUC from B.E.M.M.S.S, Kasargoad. Her hobbies include reading books, singing etc. Her aspiration is to excel in software field by doing lots of applications and also to excel in the music field.

• Renil M S is from Udupi. He pursued his schooling and PUC from Little Rock Indian School, Udupi. His hobbies are playing guitar, Cricket, and dance. He aspires to become a guitarist and also a successful engineer.

Yes! Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management is yet again towards witnessing its most decorated event “Alumni Meet – 2019” on Saturday, 28th Dec’19 at Sahyadri Campus.

The event is expected to witness around 500 Alumni who are in an urge to visit their Alma Mater and refresh old memories. Sahyadri is happy to have its Alumna Ms. Ramya K, Depot Manager, KSRTC, Mangaluru as the Chief Guest of the Event.
