Projects Selected for Incubation under Sahyadri Hub for Innovation & Entrepreneurship during ‘In-Unity 2k19’Projects Selected for Incubation under Sahyadri Hub for Innovation & Entrepreneurship during ‘In-Unity 2k19’ In the light of the recent SSTH-2019 event held wherein students from various colleges showcased their science models, and the subsequent event In-Unity 2k19, it is a great moment to announce the top five winning projects which will be incubated at Sahyadri.

During the In-Unity 2k19 event, winners had pitched their projects to the jury comprising of Ms. Elena Churina, Chairman-Agency for Innovative Development of Regions; Mr. Kim Peng Foo, Adjunct Associate Professor-Entrepreneurship, Singapore University Technology Design; and Dr. Abhishek Vaish, who has served as the Head of Science & Technology Wing, Indian Embassy, Moscow.

Five projects are selected for incubation under the Sahyadri Hub for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

In the recently announced Rank list of Mangalore University Examination 2018-19, Shabana from 1st year MBA has secured 4th rank in BBA (UG Degree). She is an alumna of St. Philomena College, Puttur affiliated to Mangalore University.

Student Counsellor invited as a Resource Person by A J Hospital and Research Centre, MangaluruStudent Counsellor invited as a Resource Person by A J Hospital and Research Centre, Mangaluru Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Student Counsellor, was invited by A J Hospital and Research Centre, Kuntikana, Mangaluru to conduct a session for Nursing and General Staff on responding to stress, on 3rd Dec’19.
Mr. Ankith had a fruitful interaction with the staff. He explained the importance of keeping rational expectations from self and others to be happy.

Prof Naveen B has done his B.E Degree in Mechanical Engineering, M. Tech. Degree in Thermal Power Engineering and is pursuing Ph. D on a part-time basis, in BMS College of Engineering. Bengaluru. He is having 6 years of teaching and one year of research experience.


Mentees’ Details:
• Abhinandan S K is from Uppinangadi. He pursued his schooling from SREM School and PUC from SR Pre-University College, Ramakunja. His hobbies are playing cricket, football and listening to music. His dream to become the best Mechanical Engineer and get placed in Core Company.
• Yashwanth Poojary is from Kundapur. He pursued his schooling from VKR Acharya English Medium High School and PUC from RNS PU College, Kundapur. His hobbies are playing volleyball and kabaddi. He aspires to become a professional Mechanical Engineer in Merchant Navy.
• Aditya Kotian is from Mangaluru. He pursued his schooling from Vishwamangala High School and PUC from St Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru. His free time hobbies are listening to music, playing cricket and watching movies. His aspiration is to get placed in Core Company.
• Shaikh Umeir Salim is from Udupi. He pursued his schooling from MET Public School, Udyavar and PUC from Poorna Prajna PU College, Udupi. His hobbies are drawing, riding and listening to music. His aspiration is to get placed in Anglo Eastern Company.
• Abhijith is from Mangaluru. He pursued his schooling from SNG High School and PUC from SDPT PU College, Mangaluru. His hobbies are watching movies and reading books. He aspires to get placed in an automobile company.
