SSTH 2020 Pre-Finale, Top 50 Teams to be taken forward for Mentoring

Innumerable sleepless nights and days of hard work & contemplating have finally reaped its worth. After a considerable amount of waiting the top ten projects of SSTH 2020 have finally been announced. The top 50 teams have been shortlisted and will be taken forward for mentoring and project building.
A Zoom Meet was arranged, and the Meet was streamed live on YouTube. The event was inaugurated in all grandeur by Dr. Rajesha S., Principal. This was followed by a Talk delivered by The Honourable Guest Mr. Akarsh Naidu, CEO and Co-founder of 'The Startupreneur', a venture aimed at revolutionizing innovation and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Akarsh spoke on how today's generation should indulge themselves to become problem solvers of tomorrow. He also shed light on the importance of skills, gaining new experiences and having an entrepreneurial mindset.
Mr. Ananth Ravi a Prominent Guest and Ex-Advisor of Reliance Jio enlightened the virtual audience about his journey as an entrepreneur and spoke on how entrepreneurs are born and how entrepreneurship should start from home.
Mr. Ananth also did the honour of announcing the Top Ten contestants.
The Grand Finale is scheduled to happen in April 2021.

Release of Glorious Bharat Part 3 Authored by CSE Faculty

India is a land of vibrant history, rich culture, glorious monuments and heritage, which every Indian is proud of.
Unfortunately, many of us are unaware of such historical and religious monuments like Rani Ki Vav, Ramappa Temple, Buland Darwaza, Saraswathi Mahal Library, to name a few.
Prehistory Chronicles or the websites very rarely speak about these lesser known facts about the rich heritage of our country. Only a few are highlighted, sporadically. However there is an underlying desire inside every Indian to know as many facts as possible about the rare artifacts of India. To address these issues, Glorious Bharat was penned.
Glorious Bharat is a reflection of ancient culture, religious richness, histories and mysteries of India. The book is authored by Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering. It is a humble attempt by the author to present the above mentioned facts to the reader in an appealing manner. The book is brought out with a strong belief that the richness of our heritage and culture shall pass through generations to come.
