Joswin Cutinha, Prashantha S, Roystan Lawrence D'Souza, Shreemadhu Rai and B Shahbir Singh Hanspal from the Department of Mechanical Engineering has been recruited by JSW in the recently held campus recruitment drive.

The Department of Business Administration, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru, in association with the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of commerce and Industry (FKCCI) is organizing a two-day event, “Sahyadri Leadership Summit”, on the 13th and the 14th of February, 2015 at the Sahyadri campus. The theme for the Summit is “Managing business during uncertain times – Unique challenges, Smart solutions”.
The two day event will be inaugurated by Mr. Ananth Ravi, Senior Vice President, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. The Guest of Honour is Mr. M.C.Dinesh, Vice President, FKCCI, Bangalore. Drishti 2015 ‘Fete-Foraine’
 The Department of Business Administration organized Drishti 2015 ‘Fete-Foraine’, a management fest for undergraduates at Sahyadri Campus. Events like Quiz, Mad-Ad, Best Manager, Group Dance and Fashion show were organized in this mega event. Prof. Aruna P. Kamath, Principal of SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore inaugurated the function. In her inaugural address, she expressed her pleasure of being at Sahyadri. She conveyed that management fests are meant to groom the students before they get into the corporate. She also encouraged the students by saying that they must consider this fest as a platform to realize their competencies and enhance their ability to work in a team and not merely to compete and win. Dr. Umesh M. Bhushi, Principal, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management presided over the function, he emphasized that more than winning let everyone of them obtain learning should be the objective of the participants of ‘Fete-Foraine’ 2015.
Dr. AP Achar, Director, Department of Business Administration welcomed the gathering and highlighted the milestones that Sahyadri has reached and wished many more would come in the future.

Faculty Members of Mechanical Engineering Congratulates Sahyadri BAJA Team
Dr. U. M. Bhushi, Principal, Dr. Antony A J, Vice Principal, Prof. S.S.Balakrishna, HoD and all the faculty members of Department of Mechanical Engineering congratulated the entire BAJA team for their successful completion of building an off road vehicle for the National level BAJA competition organized by Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), India Chapter at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. They wished the team every success in their endeavor. On this occasion Prof. S. S. Balakrishna, Head of the department of Mechanical Engineering handed over a cheque for Rs.25,000/- on behalf of the faculty members of the department to Mr. Gautham Nayak, Team Captain, “Arions” Sahyadri BAJA Team.
