Sahyadri Whiz Quiz Semi-Final Round
Five parallel sessions of Sahyadri Whiz Quiz Semi-Final Round was held at St. Agnes Degree College, Mangalore. Forty teams participated in this round, out of which the final twenty teams comprising of three each were selected and will be a part of the mega event at Sahyadri to be held on the 11th of March 2016. Professor Devi Prabha, HOD, Dept. of Commerce and Professor Gauthami, St. Agnes Degree College extended their support in making all arrangements for the smooth conduct of the programme. Sahyadri MBA students of 1st year were given an opportunity to take the lead to host the Oral Quiz round under the guidance of Professors Vishal Samartha, Sushma V and Karthik Kudroli.

• Ayon Global Education Services Pvt Ltd, one of India's largest e-Learning- based companies is up for a cause, to spread education and make all the children employable through our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) campaign. Nation First; an initiative of Ayon has organized a drawing competition (Art Party) for kids in Mangalore from various schools from 8 am to 5 pm at Sahyadri Campus.
• Indian Engineering Olympiad (IEO) a pan-India event that offers a real test of engineering aptitude for the engineering students in their respective fields on a national platform will be conducted in the campus.
All students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year engineering are eligible to appear for the exam. Registrations are now open and can be done online on the IEO website www.engineeringolympiad.in . The format and the syllabus of the exam are designed akin to many competitive tests that the students are expected to go through in their further academic & career pursuits.

Sahyadri Whiz Quiz – College Round
Rosario Degree College, Mangalore:
Sahyadri Whiz Quiz was held at Rosario Degree College, Mangalore. Twenty- eight teams comprising of three in a team participated in the first round, out of which eight teams qualified for the semi-final round and the first four winners will be part of the mega event at Sahyadri to be held on the 11th of March 2016.
Professors Pooja Rai and Vidyavathi coordinated the event. Mrs. Deepthi, Faculty Coordinator, Rosario Degree College, extended her help to conduct the programme. Sahyadri in-house faculties along with student volunteers compered the programme and played the role of quiz masters, score keepers and time keepers. Students received appreciation from the management of Rosario College.
Carmel College, Modankaup:
Round 1 and Round 2 were conducted at Carmel College, Modankaup. Sixteen team with forty-eight final year students participated in the competition.
Prof. Raghavendra Prabhu was the coordinator and student Ms. Shahida was the quiz master supported by five other students of first year MBA. Prof. H. S. Fernandes, Principal of the college and teacher coordinators Mrs. Preethi and Mr. Joel were present.
S.V.S. College, Bantwal:
Sahyadri Whiz Quiz Round 1 and Round 2 were conducted at S.V.S. College, Bantwal. Forty-three teams comprising of 144 final year students participated.
Prof. Raghavendra Prabhu was the coordinator and the quiz was conducted by ten students of first year MBA. Dr. Panduranga Nayak, Principal of the college and teacher coordinator Ms. Akhila Pai were present.
