Sahyadrians Shortlisted for Online Test by TVS Motors
Safiyulla, Mahammad Yunus C and Mohiyuddin Al Muhsin students of mechanical engineering have been shortlisted by TVS Motors for the online test by the company in the recently held campus recruitment drive.
Mangalore Infotech Campus Recruitment Drive
Four students of the college are shortlisted for the final round of interview by Mangalore Infotech Solutions (P) Ltd (UniCourt) in the recruitment drive conducted at the campus. Mr. Prashanth Shenoy, Director, Mangalore Infotech Solutions (P) Ltd (UniCourt) accompanied by the panelists on the recruitment team were at the campus to facilitate the entire process.

Mangalore Infotech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (UniCourt) is visiting Sahyadri to conduct a campus recruitment drive for the engineering students of the 2016 batch as the company is looking forward to hire candidates for coding.

MBA Director Guest of Honour at Women Entrepreneurs Summit & Market Fair
Dr. A. P. Achar, Director, Department of Business Administration, was the guest of honour at the inaugural function of the Women Entrepreneurs Summit and Market Fair organized by Platform for Women Entrepreneurs (POWER). Dr Achar delivered the keynote address on women empowerment through entrepreneurship.
Sahyadri Whiz Quiz Commences at Vivekananda College & St. Philomena College
Phase-I of the inter-collegiate quiz competition Sahyadri Whiz Quiz commenced at two destinations; Vivekananda College and St. Philomena College, Puttur. Approximately 450 students of final year B Com and BBM of Vivekananda College and 280 students of St. Philomena’s College participated with full enthusiasm and vigor. Prof. Lokesh and Prof Karthik Kudroli along with student volunteers spearheaded the initiative. A short introduction of Sahyadri was given before the commencement of the competition. Prof. Venkatarana Bhat, the HOD,Commerce & Management and faculty coordinators Prof. Ravikala and Prof. Rekha of Vivekananda College and Prof. Maxim Carlo, HOD. Commerce & Management and faculty coordinator Prof. Chandrashekar of St. Philomena College applauded Sahyadri for the novel and innovative idea. They thanked the college for giving a platform for the students to take part in the competitions. Students appeared for the elimination round.
