Sahyadri Whiz Quiz 2017 underway in Carmel College, Modankap
Eighty students of Carmel College, Modankap had registered for Sahyadri Whiz Quiz 2017. Dr. Vidyavathi and Prof. Raghavendra Prabhu along with ten student volunteers of the MBA Department administered the Written Quiz Round & the College Level Quiz Round as Quiz Masters, Time Keepers and Score Keepers. 8 teams were shortlisted post the Written Quiz and finally 4 teams emerged as winners and have been invited to participate in the “The Grand Finale - Sahyadri Whiz Quiz 2017” on March 10th’17 in Sahyadri Campus.

Sahyadrians participate in 200th cleanliness drive rally of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan
 
Swacch Bharat Abhiyan in Mangaluru spearheaded by Ramakrishna Mission got a big boost on Sunday, February 12th 2017 with veteran Bollywood actor, the renowned, Nana Patekar flagging off the 200th cleanliness drive rally and painting the wall of Mangalore University College at Hampankatta. A rally was taken out from Hampankatta to Ramakrishna Math, Mangaladevi, in which, along with Nana Patekar around six hundred 1st year students of Sahyadri had participated.
