Anglo Eastern Ship Management, Ltd is visiting Sahyadri on the 6th of February, 2018 to conduct Pool Campus Recruitment Drive for Electronics & Communication and Mechanical Engineering students of 2018 batch. Mr. Ankith S Kumar was invited to conduct a workshop on Counselling Skills for Teachers at Government First Grade College, Sullia for the Professors and Asst. Professors. Mr. Ankith explained some of the Common Emotional and Behavioural problems faced by students and its cause. He used case studies to explain the various problems of students. The meaning, process, do's and don’ts of counselling and mentoring skills were also discussed at the workshop. The workshop was organized by IQAC and Counselling Cell of GFGC, Sullia.
Dr. Steven L Fernandes, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is selected as Postdoctoral Researcher for National Institutes of Health (NIH) project. He would be working in the area of Medical Image Processing for a period of 1 year at the University of Alabama Birmingham, USA.
