Campus Recruitment Drive - Kambala Solutions

Kambala Solutions conducted a Pool Campus Recruitment Drive on 12th Feb'2020, for the Computer Science, Information Science and Electronics & Communication Engineering students of 2020 outgoing batch. The process began with a Pre-placement Talk followed by Aptitude, Programming round and Personal Interview.

Around 135 students from pool colleges participated in the Drive and the results are awaited.

Mentor-Mentee System at Sahyadri

Introduction of the Mentor:
Dr. Chatrapathy K is working as Professor in the Dept of Information Science & Engineering. He has completed his Ph.D. from Jain University, M.Tech from Allahabad University and B.E from Mysore University. He has worked in premier institutions such as Manipal University, Jain University, Nagarjuna College of Engineering (VTU).

Dr. Chatrapathy is having 27 years of teaching, 2 years of industry and 10 years of research experience. He has completed a couple of courses in AI, ML and Data Analytics from NPTEL and other online portals. His area of interest includes Fuzzy Logic, Fuzzy Systems, Soft computing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Nature Inspired Computing. He has published research articles in International journals and conferences.

Introduction of the Mentees:
• Chirag T Melanta is from Mangaluru. He pursued his schooling from St. Joseph’s Higher Primary School and PUC from Canara PU College, Mangaluru. His hobbies include playing cricket and listening to music. He is actively involved in Mozilla Club activities. He aspires to become a Computer and Information Security Expert.

• Keerthishankar Punichithaya is from Kerala. He pursued his schooling from Vivekananda High School, Puttur and PUC from Expert College, Mangaluru. His hobbies include cycling, reading, making friends and watching technology related videos. He aspires to become a good Software Developer and work in a highly reputed Software company.

• Pooja Narayan Moger is from Bhatkal. She pursued her schooling from RNS Vidyaniketan, Kundapur and PUC from Alwas PU College, Moodabidri. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, reading books and making friends. Her aspiration is to become a good Software professional working for a highly reputed MNC.

• Preksha Praveen Alwa is from Kundapura. She pursued her schooling from St. Theresa School and PUC from Expert PU College, Mangaluru. She likes drawing, listening to music and doodling. She is actively involved with SIP and SSTH initiatives. She has participated in ROBOVEDA-2019 at SNSIT-Hyderabad and won 3rd place in Gathi. She is also mentoring students from St. Theresa School. She aspires to get placed in highly reputed industry and enter into Civil Service of India.

• Neha Hegde is from Mangaluru. She pursued her schooling from BGS Education Centre and PUC from Canara PU College, Mangaluru. Her hobbies include reading novels, listening to songs and travelling. She is interested in Ethical Hacking and aspires to become an Entrepreneur.

• Anushahika Kottary is from Mangaluru. She pursued her schooling from St. Mary’s High School and PUC from St. Aloysius College, Mangaluru. Her hobbies are dancing, listening to music and collecting shells. She is actively involved with SSTH and SIP initiatives. She is also mentoring students from Ramakrishna School. She has participated in ROBOVEDA-2019 at SNSIT, Hyderabad and won 3rd place in Gathi. Her passion is Dance and she aspires to become a famous Dancer.

• Nahez-Ul-Khair is from Bhatkal. He pursued his schooling from International India School of Jubal and Green Valley School, Byndoor. He is interested in sports & games, reading books and learning new things. He has a passion for leadership and for learning new skills. He aspires to become a famous Software Developer and pursue a career in a reputed multinational company.

Ribbon Communications is visiting Sahyadri to conduct a Pool Campus Recruitment Drive for the Computer Science, Information Science and Electronics & Communication engineering students from 2020 outgoing batch. The package is around Rs. 6.50 Lakhs to Rs. 7 Lakhs Per Annum.
