MBA Dept. organized a “Presentation & Analysis by Students - Union Budget 2021”

Dept. of Business Administration-MBA organized a “Presentation & Analysis by Students - Union Budget 2021” on 10th Feb, 2021. A total of 6 Teams of 4 students each from the first year MBA presented on various sectors like Agriculture, Education, Infrastructure, MSMEs, Health and Well-Being and Defence & Banking. They analyzed the positive and negative aspects of the budget. CA Ashwath Shenoy, Dr. Lokesha, Govt. First Grade College, Punjalakatte and Prof. Anasuya Bhagvath, Canara Degree College, Mangaluru were the Panelists.

The Panelists in their Concluding Remarks, appreciated the Department for contributing Leaders to the nation who not only study and understand the Union Budget 2021, but also present their viewpoint in front of the experts. Students were encouraged to further study on the impact of Budget on the Stock Market which will strengthen their understanding and help to analyze trends for the future.

Dept. of Civil Engineering organized an Awareness Programme on “NAIN Projects - Interdisciplinary Projects - Opportunities for Civil Engineering Students”

Prof. Pradeep Kumar C, Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering, delivered a session on the “NAIN Projects - Interdisciplinary Projects - Opportunities for Civil Engineering Students” on 10th Feb, 2021. Through his session, he brought out the opportunities available for the Civil Engineering students and urged them to involve with the Interdisciplinary projects associated with NAIN. He also listed out the names of the LLP’s associated with the NAIN Center and briefed about the various ongoing projects and its status. Prof. Pradeep, motivated the students to associate with the ongoing projects so as to groom their skill-set and holistically bridge the gap between the recent technologies and the academics. Post this session, Prof. Sunil Kumar K, Dept. of Civil Engineering, briefed the students regarding the functioning of Sahyaware Technologies LLP and consultancy activities taken up by the Department. Prof. Sunil in his address motivated the students to make the best use of these opportunities and add value to their profiles.
