A session on ‘Aspiration Building’ for the students of Young Leadership Program (YLP) organized by NAIN and SHINE Foundation

What could be more inspiring than learning from the lives of successful entrepreneurs! On the 9th February, 2021, Mr. Aakarsh Naidu, Co-Founder, and CEO of The Startupreneur, and Ms. Yeshoda Karuturi, Co-Founder and CEO of Rose Bazaar interacted with a bunch of young, enthusiastic, budding leaders of the Young Leadership Program. The keynote speakers emphasized the importance of the qualities that help one stand unique in life. They highlighted the significance of openness to learning new skills, strengthening able leadership qualities, deriving motivation from the spiritual texts, exploring diverse opportunities beyond the boundary, thereby transforming dreams into reality. Students put forward various interesting questions which were answered appealingly. The session was hosted by Prathiksha Rao, a student of 2nd year Computer Science & Engineering.
The Young Leadership Program is an ambitious programme at Sahyadri that brings together a group of passionate, young engineers who aspire to build creative solutions for the problems that hinder the development of a community. The programme encompasses workshops for capability development, by building a mindset that paves way for empathy, problem-solving, and creative thinking intertwined with a well-defined purpose that enables aspiring engineers to build technical solutions that can create a positive impact. It is an initiative that nurtures the leaders for tomorrow, who are determined to satisfy the Sustainable Development Goals derived by global organizations such as the United Nations to serve the planet and its creations.
