MBA student pledged to donate Organs

Kavyashree Kolli, a student of First Year MBA has taken the Pledge to donate her organs, after her lifetime under the guidance and supervision of Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Student Counsellor. She registered her name as a donor in the National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO).

CSE Faculty delivered a session in a Five-Day Online FDP on Semantic Web

Dr. Shreyas Rao, Associate Prof., Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering delivered a session in a Five-Day Online FDP on "Semantic Web" conducted by the Dept. of ISE at RVITM, Bengaluru. A total of 80 faculty participated in the FDP programme from various Universities and Institutions across India.

• Structure of the Semantic Web

• LOD principles, Ontologies and Triplestores

Fire, Safety and Emergency response training conducted for First-year Engineering Students

Half-day Fire Safety and Emergency response training was conducted for the First year Engineering Students by Mr. Jagadish Adapa, Chairman and Managing Director of Usha Fire Safety Equipment Pvt Ltd, Chennai on 22nd February, 2021. Mr. Adapa explained the common worst-case scenario that can occur and how the students must respond to it. He gave a real-life example of cases and explained the course of action to be taken during the crisis. The session was followed by a live demonstration of Fire Extinguishers and hydrants on the campus. The programme was organized by Sahyadri NSS Unit.
