Dean-WeSchool (Welingkar Education), Bangalore Campus and Team, visits Sahyadri

Dr. Madhavi Lokhande, Dean-WeSchool (Welingkar Education), Bangalore Campus along with Mr. Haren and Mr. Vinayak Prabhu from Kedex Educom were at Sahyadri to view the Campus and interact with the MBA Faculty and students.
During the first half, the Welingkar Team visited the in-house industries and start-ups, interacted with the industry heads and then had a presentation about ‘Sahyadri MBA’ by Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA. The team was keen on interacting with the MBA Faculty members and during the discussion; Dr. Madhavi shared the uniqueness in their PGDM programme at WeSchool. She also explained about the various PGDM programmes they offer and mentioned how each programme is different from the other. Post Lunch, Dr. Madhavi addressed the MBA students and also sat through the presentations of the in-house industries and startups.

LIVE Streaming of Union Budget 2021

MBA Department had arranged for the LIVE streaming of Union Budget-2021 presented by Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, in the Seminar Hall on 1st Feb, 2021. Faculty and Students of various departments viewed the Budget Presentation and made notes for further analysis.
The takeaways and reforms of Union Budget 2021 shall be presented by the students in groups, targeting 15 prime sectors like Education, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Health Care, Fiscal and so on. In addition to this, the Dept. of Business Administration is organizing a programme – “Union Budget 2021-22” on 10th Feb, 2021 inviting guests from various sectors for Panel Discussion & Presentation. Union Budget and its effects on reforms being undertaken currently in Post-Covid era would be the highlight of this year's Union Budget Presentation.
