Principal addresses MBA students
 Dr. Umesh M. Bhushi, Principal, addressed the students of final year MBA to trigger their interest in the subject, Total Quality Management.
He gave an overview of the topic and explained how the definition of “Quality” has shifted from manufacturer to customer delight. He said “TQM calls for developing a system such that mistakes don’t happen.” He also emphasized on top management commitment which comprises of leading by example and hearing the unheard. He stressed upon the importance of team-work and continuous improvement. The presentations included a lot of real life examples and videos.
The Administrator, The Dean Research, Dr. Vishal Samartha, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration, and the Student Welfare Officers were present during the session.

Hewlett Packard pool campus recruitment drive will be held at St. Aloysius College of Management & Information Technology (AIMIT), Ullal-Beeri, on the 11th & 12th of January, 2014. A total of twenty-two students of present final year and six students of 2013 passed-out batch of Engineering students of the Departments of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Information Science Engineering from Sahyadri, will aspire for the privileged positions of, 'Software Developers' and 'Software Testing' in this drive.
