Faculty Member presents paper in National Conference

Mr. Lokesh, Assistant Professor-SG, Department of Business Administration, presented a research paper titled, ` Public Private Participation in Agriculture Marketing ', in the two-day National Conference on, “Market, State and Society in Emerging India”, held at Justice K. S. Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte, Karkala.

Dr. M. M. Bagali of Jain University speaks on competencies expected by the corporate businesses

Dr. M. M. Bagali, Professor, Department of Business Administration, Jain University, Bangalore, spoke to the MBA students on the competencies expected by corporate businesses. He emphasized that students should have maximum connects with the industries which will lead to placement opportunities. He highlighted that SMART, Energetic, Innovator, Talent, and Performance are a few of the competencies expected by these large business houses. He conducted a quiz for the students showing the pictures of the top B-schools across the world. The session was very informative and engaging which uplifted the morale of the students.

Dr. Bagali has obtained two Ph. D. degrees; one in Management Sciences and the other in the HR area (MBA). He has 15 plus years of teaching in Management and the HR area. He has published 80 plus research papers including articles. Dr. Bagali has been honoured by AIMA-AMT as accredited Management teacher in HRD/HRM (national recognition as Management teacher). He was awarded with AICTE Young Teacher Award and Career Award. He is the Brand Ambassador of AHRB and has been awarded the Asian HR Board Fellowship.
