Day 2: Workshop on
Strategic Leadership Excellence
The second day of the workshop on, “Strategic Leadership Excellence”, covered topics such as Balanced Score Card Approaches in an Educational Institution, Developing Institutional Strategic Goals, Strategies and Sub-Strategies for Institutional Strategic Goals.
The Chairman addressed the participants and shared his views and appraised how this institution evolved with the help of Dr. Balveera Reddy, former Vice- Chancellor of VTU.
Dr. D. L. Prabhakara, Director of Sahyadri Group of institutions was also present during the workshop along with the Principal, the Deans and the HoDs of the various departments.

 Mr. Abhay Kumar has joined the Department of Business Administration as an Assistant Professor. He received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Swami Vivekananda College of Engineering & Technology, Puttur. His area of specialisation is Finance.

ICICI Securities Limited conducts pool campus recruitment drive
ICICI Securities Limited conducted a pool campus recruitment drive for MBA students in the Sahyadri Campus. Eighty-three students from various colleges have participated in the recruitment drive. Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Zonal Head - Retail, and Ms. Shwetha M., Regional Manager – HR, of ICICI Securities Limited, addressed the students with a pre-placement talk followed by a group discussion round. Twenty-seven students have been shortlisted for the personal interview round including seventeen from Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management. The final results are awaited.
