Venturesity Hackathon Event: Register Now to Participate
Venturehack is India's premier student online hackathon. It is hosted by Venturesity. It consists of four online challenges. Each challenge will run for a week. They will run consecutively. The first challenge kicks off on 30th January 2016. All student developers from all colleges in India are invited to take part. Students, working in teams, will work on interesting problems that will challenge their ability. Each team must consist of 3 members; otherwise, their submission will not be considered. The winning teams of each challenge will win cash prizes worth of INR 5000, as well as potential tickets to the Grand Finale Hackathon hosted in the month of March. Up to 3 teams from each participating college will be selected to attend this final hack. Faculty Members Paper Published in International Journal
A research paper titled “Diophantine Edge Graceful Graph” authored by Dr. S. A. Mariadoss, and Mrs. Sunita Priya D’Silva, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, has been published in the International Journal of recent patents on Computer Science, Volume 8, Issue 2, December 2015.

The VTU Semester III MBA results for the December 2015-16 examinations have been declared with Sahyadri students securing an overall percentage score of 82.41%. Soumya was ranked the highest in the College with 74.56% followed by Sindura H. with 74.22% and Reenu Rebecca John with 73%. Fifteen students obtained a distinction, fifty-four students a first class and twenty students a second class.

Ms. Ankitha has joined the Department of Chemistry as an Assistant Professor. She obtained a B.Sc. degree in PCM and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Mangala Gangothri in Mangalore University. Her area of Specialization is Chemistry.
