Tomorrow at Sahyadri

MozCoffee meetup 2K17 organised by Department of Information Science & Engineering

A total of twenty enthusiastic and committed volunteers have been selected from various engineering colleges in and around Mangaluru who would be visiting Sahyadri for the MozCoffee meetup 2K17 organised by the Department of Information Science & Engineering. This event has been organised with a mission to form Mozilla Clubs in these colleges and the participants shall be empowered, post the event to start a Mozilla Club on their own in their respective colleges.

Mr. AbhiRam RaviKumar would be the resource person of the programme. He has been a part of the open source world in Bangalore for over 3 years now. As a student volunteer during his engineering, he started contributing to Mozilla's Firefox OS project as well as FSMK (Free Software Movement Karnataka). After becoming a Mozilla Representative he has presented over 40 sessions and workshops on web development, Rust and git version control at various venues all over India. Being an internet activist, he was an integral part of the #SaveTheInternet campaign in India during the fight against net neutrality violations. Currently, he is a Mozilla Tech Speaker and a part of FSMK’s Executive Council. By profession, he is an Engineer in Information Sciences and currently working at SAP Labs in Bangalore as a full stack web developer, while still continuing to contribute to Mozilla India as well as FSMK.
