Campus Recruitment Drive - Smartlink Network Systems Ltd / Digisol Systems Ltd

Smartlink Network Systems Ltd /Digisol Systems Ltd visited Sahyadri to conduct a campus recruitment drive for the Electronics & Communication Engineering students of the 2019 outgoing batch. The results are awaited.

Smartlink Network Systems Ltd. divided its operations into 3 independent focused business units and became an NBFC company with a new name Smartlink Holding Ltd. Digisol Systems Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary and is in the business of sales, marketing service and support of DIGISOL brand of end-to end active networking and passive networking (Structured Cabling) products. First launched as an active networking products brand of Smartlink, DIGISOL is now one of the most preferred networking brands in India.

Mr. Chandrakanth S. did his BBM in Govinda Dasa College and MBA in Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management. He has worked in Chartered Accountant’s firm as an Audit Assistant, and in CAMPCO as a trainee. He has previously worked in Eureka Forbes Ltd. as Service Process Evaluator.

Department of Mechanical Engineering
Introduction of the Mentor:
Mr. Rakshith H.S. is currently working as an Assistant Professor and Industrial Trainer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is also having a year’s experience in industry where he worked as a CAD modeler. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree and Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. He currently is persuing his Ph.D in BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. He is having five years of teaching experience. He is a good sportsman and has represented VTU in athletics. He is a faculty coordinator for the departmental student’s association. He is a member of SAE club, MISTE. His areas of interests are composite material structures, finite element methods.

• Ashritha Rai is from Maharashtra. She studied her 10th standard at New Horizon Public School, Panvel, Maharashtra and did her PUC from Sharadha PU College, Mangaluru. She has a keen interest in aeronautics and to achieve this dream, took up mechanical engineering. She is an active member of College Challengers. In the coming semester she is flying to US to learn and explore the opportunities in her field of interest. Her hobbies are reading, dancing, travelling, and writing articles and poems. She wishes to have a successful career in the field of engineering
• Hiba Fathima is from Mangaluru. She studied her 10th and PU at Ideal Indian School, Qatar. She loves poetry and writes poems. She has a blog where she pours her ideas into actions. She is an active member of Dreamers working on a project “Line follower robot” and she recently took part in the competition in IIT Bombay. She wants to be a graphics designer. Internshala Career Scholarship for Girls (ICSG-2019)
Internshala Career Scholarship for girls (ICSG-2019), an annual scholarship meant to advance one girl's career. The scholarship is meant to recognize a girl who has fought against odds to pursue a career of her dreams in any field (academics, sports, arts etc.)
Who can apply?
Girls (Indian nationals) between the ages of 17 to 23 years (as of 31st December 2018), i.e. born between 1st January 1995 and 31st December 2001, with a strong career objective are eligible to apply.
