Company Specific Training for Students of Sahyadri

Mumbai_metro The Company Specific Training for the 3rd Year Engineering students of all branches from the 2021 Outgoing Batch has commenced. The Training, Placement and Career Guidance (TPCG) cell of Sahyadri has got the ball rolling and the training would continue for 30 days.
Training Update – 16.07.2020
Approximately 300 students attended the training via Zoom, which was spread throughout the whole day and was divided into two batches. The Morning session had 155 students and the Afternoon session had 145 students.
All important concepts and questions on Time Speed and Distance Part-2 were covered. Besides, concepts on Effective Speed, Problems on Boats and Races (Linear or Circular), were also covered in this training session.

TCS announces MockVita 2, an Online Practice Coding Exam for Students of Sahyadri

MockVita2 Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announces Mockvita, a simulated version of Codevita for the students of Sahyadri, which is scheduled at 3 pm during 17th to 18th July'2020. Participation in Mockvita will be extremely important for the students to have an edge during the actual Codevita.
Codevita Platform is open for all UG and PG students of 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 (where applicable) batches. It aims at strengthening the programming skills of students using some real-life examples along with the below mentioned benefits:
• Opportunity for students to take a differential/digital/higher package
• Students can choose from 8 programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Perl, PHP & Ruby)
• Work in multiple start-up modelled projects within TCS
• Possibility of working on TCSTM products and platforms
• Internship with TCS Research & Innovation group
MockVita is a simulation of CodeVita platform to give the students, the feel of actual contest. Considering the hovering uncertainties and also lack of access to college Infrastructure, it would be prudent for all registered students to participate, feel the excitement attached to the contest and make the process of potential recruitment a lot easier.

MBA Faculty Members attend Online FDP on "Hands-On Google Drive & its Application"

With the growing need to conduct classes online and the increased need to use innovative tools and techniques to impart knowledge, Faculty members of Dept. of Business Administration-MBA have attended an Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Hands-On Google Drive & its Application" organized by Silicon City College of Management & Commerce, Bengaluru on 16th July, 2020.
Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Forms were explained and their Add-On features were walked through. All the features which were used as Trial & Error were now explained in detail in order to enhance the fundamental knowledge on Google Drive and its Application.
