Shimna M. with 84.40% has topped the Sahyadri College in the Semester VIII Information Science Engineering Examination of 2013-14 held by VTU. Bhavya Rao P. obtained the second position in the college with 80.67% while Nidhi S. S. with 77.60% stands third. Out of twenty-four students who sat for the examination, seventeen secured a first class with distinction and five students a second class, bringing the overall percentage score of the department to 91.70%.

Prof. Akash Chandrakant Mathapati is HOD, Department of Business Administration, BLDEA’s V. P. Dr P. G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology, Bijapur. Prof. Akash is pursuing his Ph.D. (VTU) in Management from Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management under the guidance of Dr. K. Vidyavathi, Associate Prof., Department of Business Administration.
