Sudesh Kumar with 83.60% has topped the Sahyadri College in the Semester VIII Mechanical Engineering Examination of 2013-14 held by VTU. Siddharth S. obtained the second position in the college with 83.47% while Sudeep B. S. with 82.53% stands third. Out of ninety-five students who sat for the examination, fifty-eight secured a first class with distinction and twenty-eight students a second class, bringing the overall percentage score of the department to 90.50%.
