 Mr. Deepak P. Naik has joined the Department of Mathematics as an Assistant Professor. He obtained his B.Sc. degree and post-graduation M.Sc. degree from Karnataka University, Dharwad. His area of specialisation is Pure Mathematics. He has more than three years of teaching experience.
 Mrs. Aysha Shabana has joined the Department of Mathematics as an Assistant Professor. She obtained her B.Sc. degree and post-graduation M.Sc. (Mathematics) degree from Mangalore University. Her area of specialisation is Partial Differential Equations.

The Bridge Course for new entrants to Semester I B.E. course will commence from Monday, July 7, 2014 to Saturday, July 26, 2014. An Orientation Programme for parents of the new entrants will be held on July 7, 2014 in the College Seminar Hall at 11:00 A.M.
The registration for the programme will begin at
9.30 A.M.
Mr. Chetan Ram, Founder & Managing Director for Academy of Management & Corporate Attitude Development (AMCAD) and well-known Trainer with over twenty-five years of training in Personality Development will conduct a two-day course on Personality Development for the new entrants on the 7th & the 8th of July 2014 from 11:30 A.M. to 04:15 P.M.
The Bridge Course is conducted every year before the commencement of the first semester classes. The main objective of the course is to bridge the gap between subjects studied at Pre-University level and subjects opted for in the Engineering stream. The syllabi of the course is framed in such a way that equal importance is accorded to both, the Engineering discipline and personality development which includes soft skills, sports and cultural activities.
