Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore and M.Tech. in Control Systems from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. His area of Specialization is Control Systems.

Darshan with 82.93% has topped the Sahyadri College in the Semester VIII Civil Engineering Examination of 2014-15 held by VTU. Abhishek Nayak obtained the second position in the college with 82.27% while Raksha B. S. with 81.33% stands third. Fifty-nine students took the examination with thirty-four students securing a distinction, twenty students a first class and two students a second class bringing the overall percentage score of the department to 94.92%.
