Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru. His Are of specialization is Machine design.

CSE Faculty Successfully defends PhD Thesis
Prof. Pushpalatha K, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering defended her PhD thesis titled - “Effective Multimedia Document Representations for Knowledge Discovery” on 21st July’17 at National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. The research work was guided by Dr. Ananthanarayana V S, Professor & Dean (R&D), Department of Information Technology, NITK. The external examiner was Prof. M Narasimha Murthy, Professor & Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.
During research work, Pushpalatha K has published her work in two SCI indexed journals published by Springer and Elsevier. She has three publications in IEEE and one publication in Elsevier International Conferences. Her areas of expertise are Multimedia, Data Mining, Machine learning and Database.
Day Two of Bridge Course for Engineering Students 2017 Batch
Day Two started with Mathematics class entailing the portion of previous year followed by a session of Mr. Johnson Tellis based on imbibing important values that the students should inculcate for the rest of their life. The morning session concluded with the Team Bonding activities to prepare them for excellence. During the afternoon session, students were trained on the designing software - Onshape and also on basics of electronics.
