Day 2 - Orientation Programme:
‘Uthkhanana - 2014’
Day two of ‘Uthkhanana’- Nimma Prathibege Namma Vedike; a three-day Orientation Programme; began with recollection of the previous days teaching. Prof. (Mrs.) Ranjitha B., Department of English, engaged a session on Communication Skills for the students after which a session on Art of Living was engaged by Prof. Rakshith P. Shetty, Department of Mechanical Engineering. Post lunch, students prepared four Wall Magazines and in view of the celebrations to be held on the final day, students practiced for that day.
A lot of fun filled learning activities were conducted during the sessions which ensured the active participation of each and every student in the crowd. Motivational videos were screened for the students.
Fifty students participated in the Orientation Programme. The resource persons were Prof. (Mrs.) Ranjitha B., Department of English, Prof. Rakshith P. Shetty, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Ramesh K. G., and Prof. (Mrs.) Divya Prabhu, Department of Business Administration and Ms. Aurin Madtha, Student Welfare Officer (Academics).

 Prof. Karthik Raj Kudroli, Department of Business Administration, participated in the four-day VTU-VGST sponsored Faculty Development Programme on "Quality Enhancement in Teaching and Research Methodology to Bridge the Gap between Academics and Industry", organised by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
