Federal Bank pooled campus recruitment drive
Federal Bank visited Sahyadri to conduct pooled campus recruitment drive for the engineering & MBA students of 2017 passing out batch. Mr. Vishnu, Manager, Federal Bank was at the campus to facilitate the entire recruitment process. 150 candidates from pool colleges were part of the campus drive.

Third Orientation session for the Parents of New Entrants to Engineering
Third batch of Orientation session for the parents of new entrants to the engineering stream was held in the Campus. Chairman, Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, extended a warm welcome and addressed the gathered parents, providing them an insight to the overall growth of the college since the inception. He stated that engineering is a process of learning the concepts, rather than only studying. He urged the parents to extend their complete cooperation in making their ward a real engineer when they walk out of the campus on completion of the engineering course. Personality and skill development to be imbibed in an individual and parents are responsible for inculcating those values in their ward, he said.
He provided an overview to the gathered parents regarding the Project based learning culture adopted in the institute. He mentioned about the platform provided to the students to compete at the national and international level events. He also advised the parents to make their children self-dependent and suggested to avail educational loan in order to make their child financially responsible.
