MBA Faculty invited as a Guest for the Women’s Cricket Championship in Mangaluru

To mark Mother’s Day, Pathway Mangalore organized Women’s Cricket Championship in Urwa Grounds, Mangaluru and Prof. Sushma V, Dept. of Business Administration was invited as a Guest during the inaugural Ceremony. Other guests were ‘Mrs Asia International 2015’ & ‘Mrs India 2015’ - Pratibha Saunshimath from Bengaluru, President of JCI and ‘Mrs Popular’ at Mrs India Worldwide 2017’ Pageant Soujanya Hegde and former Brand Ambassador of National Level Lagori Tournament Sanjana S. A total of 8 teams from Udupi, Manipal, Sullia, Vittla and Mangaluru region participated in the tournament. Team “Pink Panthers Kalmady” won the Women’s Cricket Championship 2018.

Prof. Sushma V is now working on a Case Study related to the “Challenges that women face in striking a balance between Career, Family and Passion” - A Qualitative Research based on structured interview conducted with the Women cricketers who are Mothers in majority.
