Mr. Mohan Kumar, Practice Head, Wipro Limited on the topic – “Management Lessons through Cricket”
Mr. Mohan Kumar has 32 years of IT experience. He holds Electrical Engineering degree and MBA in HR. He is part of the Board of studies, Industry Academia Advisory Committee Member for several colleges & universities. He is a certified Cricket Umpire.
He spoke about Mentor Vs. Coach. He also conducted Business Quiz related to Cricket and how these quizzes will excite students to engage in class. He concluded his session stating that - “Cricket teaches you that there is always second innings in your life. If you fail today, there’s this second innings which may be two days later.”
Ms. Pavani, Associate Head Training - Tech Mahindra Pvt Ltd on the topic “Audio-Visual Based Learning”
Ms. Pavani is a PGDBM in Advertising and Marketing Communication. She has 10 plus years of experience in ITES, India. She has handled pre and post-training (Soft skills - Voice Training for UK, US, CAN, ANZ and India accounts).
Pavani spoke about the Learner Types and Facilitator Types with examples. She referred to various free Recording and Video tools available for faculty to explore and introduce in the Teaching.
Dr. Rajendra Kumar V Joshi, Senior Consultant, CESS and Formerly Director, Learning & Development at Marwadi University, Rajkot on the topic - “New Education Policy (NEP)”
Dr. Rajendra Kumar V Joshi is a Doctorate in Philosophy from Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai. He received the prestigious Emerald and the AIMA Research Fund Award in 2008.
He discussed about the future, significant transformative and structural changes in Multidisciplinary Institutions to offer the students community with holistic and multidisciplinary education. He threw light on the Structural Changes related to the types of HEIs – Research-Intensive Universities, Teaching-Intensive Universities and Autonomous Degree-Granting College.
Dr. Radha Raman Mishra, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, BITS-Pilani on the topic - “Mind Mapping Visualization Tools”
Dr. Mishra has served as a Project Officer, the Design Innovation Center, IIT Roorkee.
Dr. Mishra gave LIVE examples from his experiences in solving practical problems with the help of Mind maps. The participants had Hands-on experience on designing a Mind Map. They were given a Case and asked to design a Mind Map as a post-training activity.

A book chapter article titled - "Bio Entrepreneurship Globally" authored by Prof. Madhura N Hegde, Prof. Jayapadmini Kanchan, Prof. Ganaraj K and Prof. Asha B Shetty, from Dept. of Information Science & Engineering has been published by IGI Global publisher in its book titled - "Bio Entrepreneurship and Transferring Technology into Product Development".
