Campus Recruitment Drive by Sunchirin Auto Parts Private Ltd.
Sunchirin Auto Parts Private Ltd., conducted a campus recruitment drive in the Campus. Seventy students of the Mechanical Engineering branch; forty students from Srinivas Institute of Technology and thirty students of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management participated in the drive. Mr. Raju S. Padennavar HR – Executive and Mr. Anoop H. C., Team Leader–Production, Sunchirin Auto Parts Private Ltd., gave a pre-placement talk. The first round was a Test of Concentration and nine students of the college were shortlisted for the next round. The results are awaited.
Sahyadri Boys’ Cricket team win fourth place in VTU Mangalore Zone
 Sahyadri Boys’ Cricket team won the fourth Place in the VTU Mangalore Zone Cricket Tournament held at P. A. College of Engineering, Konaje. Sixteen colleges participated in the tournament.

Faculty member invited as keynote speaker
 Prof Vishwanath. B. N., Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, was invited as a keynote speaker by VTU-RO, Mysore, to deliver a lecture on ‘Contemporary Issues of Marketing Management’ for the students of the Department of Business Administration at VTU- RO, Mysore.
The session focused on updating the young MBA graduates on the importance and challenges of Marketing in an organization, and the prospects of a career in Marketing. Dr. Renuka Murthy, HoD, Dr. Hema Patil and the other faculty members, along with 110 Students of the Department of Business Administration, VTU- RO, Mysore, attended the session.
Prof. Dr. K. M. Ravi Kumar, Special Officer, VTU-RO, Mysore, appreciated the session, as it was focused on understanding the prospects of Marketing as a career. He along with the faculty members of VTU-RO, Mysore, appreciated Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management for implementing the innovative interactive ways of teaching management education.
