Employability Bridge: a window to placement opportunities



Mr. Ambalavanan Ramachandran, Founder, Employability Bridge along with Mr. Vikram Singh, College Partner, Employability Bridge, visited the Campus and had talks with the Dean Placement and other Placement Officers from various Engineering colleges. Dr. Abdul Sharief, Principal, P.A. Engineering College was also present.

Post lunch, Mr. Ramachandran interacted with the pre and final year students of the Engineering stream. Addressing them he said that it was a pleasure to be with young students as it brings back his college days. He was very appreciative of the caring management and with the infrastructure of the college saying that the students were fortunate to study in the college.

Mr. Vikram Singh, of Employability Bridge introduced the company’s concept of FLAG (First Look at Graduates); a series of intelligent hiring events that aggregate students across regions giving them multiple opportunities to flag-off their career by attending interviews with multiple companies at a particular location. Employability Bridge will assist the student in all aspects from the first moment of publishing the opportunity to short-listing the candidate to hiring him/her and engaging the student. Employability Bridge in partnership with CII aims at providing access to corporate amongst students from Tier 2 & 3 cities. The company has evolved the most efficient model to meet multiple companies in a single location called FLAG.

Sur Sangam - 2014; a festival of music by the students has been organized in the Campus by the Department of Art & Culture, from Wednesday, 26th of March to Friday, 28th of March 2014 at 3.45 P.M. in the Seminar Hall (ground floor).




   

First Year MBA Cricket Team 'B' emerge Winners

The Men’s Cricket Team B of the first year MBA has won the PG Inter-Branch Cricket Tournament organized by the Department of Physical Education by defeating the M-Tech B team in the finals. The team from the M-Tech branch was the Runners-Up. Ten teams participated in the tournament.

Sahyadrian wins in Tech Yuva '14

• Abith G., Sreeraj and Rakshith Raj, Semester VI, Department of Civil Engineering, bagged the first place in Creation (Model Making) in the Civil Engineering stream in the Tech Yuva '14; a National Level Technical and Cultural Extravaganza held at Srinivas School of Engineering, Mangalore.

• Fenil P. Mehta, Semester IV A, Department of Mechanical Engineering, won the second place in SOLIDZ (Solid Edge Modeling) in the Tech Yuva '14; a National Level Technical and Cultural Extravaganza held at Srinivas School of Engineering, Mangalore.
