Mechanical Engineering Football Team Emerge Winners
 The students of Mechanical Engineering have emerged the winners in the UG Inter-Branch Football Tournament organized by the Department of Physical Education. They defeated the Physics Cycle team in the finals. Fourteen teams participated in the tournament.

Federal Bank will be visiting Sahyadri for recruitment of engineering students.

SPSS Workshop on Patents & Publications Held in the Campus
 
SPSS Workshop on Patents & Publications was held in the Campus. Prof. Umashankar B. S., Dean Academics, welcomed the chief guest Shri. V. L. Krishnamurthy, General Manager-Operations and Shri. Nandakumar, Deputy General Manager, MRPL. The chief guests delivered a talk on “Energy Scenario - MRPL Perspective”. Dr. Gautham Jeppu, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management presented on the topic “How to Write a Technical Paper”. Dr. Rathishchandra Gatti, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management presented on the topic “How to File Patent”. Mr. Steven Lawrence Fernandes, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication informed all the SPSS students to complete their projects by 15th of April, 2015. All the SPSS projects will be presented during "Tech Vision -2015" which will be held on the 9th and the 10th of May, 2015 in the Campus. All the 250 SPSS students and 30 faculty members attended this workshop.
Tetherfi Technologies Recruitment Drive
 Tetherfi Technologies Pvt. Ltd. conducted a recruitment drive in the Campus for CS, IS and EC engineering students. Twenty-four students from Sahyadri participated in the drive and fourteen students have been shortlisted for the interview. The final results are awaited.
MCF Recruitment Drive
 
Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. (MCF) conducted a recruitment drive in the Campus for Mechanical Engineering students. 200 students from pool colleges participated in the drive. The results are awaited.
