CoCubes Online test
CoCubes conducted an Online test for the pre-final year engineering students of Sahyadri. 150 students participated in this test. Results are awaited.

The grand finale of Sahyadri Whiz Quiz organised by the Department of Business Administration, will be held on Friday, 11th of March 2016. The Inaugural program will begin at 10. 00 A. M. in the Netravathi Auditorium. The Chief Guest for the program is Mr. Murthy Ramaiah Krishna, General Manager - HRM at SLK Software .
This event is for undergraduates to create a fun-filled atmosphere for learning and acquiring general knowledge about current affairs. The College rounds of the quiz have been conducted in 23 selected colleges of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts. Out of 5000 students participated in the first round, 700 students have been selected for the final round which will be held at Sahyadri campus. This will be followed by two preliminary quiz rounds and a final round.

Dr. Vishal Samartha, takes over as the Director in charge of Department of Business Administration
Dr. Vishal Samartha has been appointed as the Director in-charge, Department of Business Administration of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management. She has more than 19 years of experience in teaching and more than 9 years of experience in Research. She has completed her Ph. D in Business Administration from Mangalore University. She has done her M.Phil from Alagappa University, MHRM from Pondicherry University and M.Com from Mysore University. She has 23 International and National publications to her credit. She has also presented several papers in International and National Conferences. Recently, she presented a paper at the World Academic Industry Research Collaborative organisation (WAIRCO) at Colombo. She is currently guiding 2 research scholars for PhD under VTU, Belagavi. She was also selected to participate in the AICTE approved short term course on HR Analytics at IIT-Kharagpur. She is presently the member of the Board of Examiners for MBA at VTU.

SMEC Automation Pvt. Ltd is visiting Sahyadri to conduct the ELECTROJOBS TEST for the 2015 and 2016 batch students, which is an international initiative to provide skilled man power from campus to core industries.
ELECTROJOBS is taking the initiative to find the eligible candidates for Core Industrial jobs through its INDUSTRIAL PROFESSIONAL SKILL SCORE (IPSS). IPSS Score is a candidate profile exposing grade which helps the employers to find the apt person for the Core job role.
