Eight Sahyadrians recruited by the Manipal Group
Eight of our students have been recruited by the Manipal Group, in the recently held pooled campus recruitment drive for the engineering & MBA students of the 2017 batch. Ms. Vidya Shenoy, Manager-HR, Manipal Technologies Limited, accompanied by panelists on the recruitment team were at the campus to facilitate the entire recruitment process.
Dr. Pavanaja presents Technical talk to Pre-final year students
Department of Information Science & Engineering organized a technical talk titled “Current IT Skills in Demand” under the banner of Computer Society of India (CSI) Mangaluru-chapter at Sahyadri campus. The renowned spokesperson, Dr. Pavanaja shared vast software development experience with the pre-final year students of the department of Information Science. The overall feedback of the talk was found effective.

Sahyadri Whiz Quiz 2017: Valedictory Function
The Sahyadri Whiz Quiz 2017 drew to a close with the valedictory session in the presence of the Guest of Honor, Mr. Guruprasad H.D, HR- Manager KPMG. The final quiz was quite enthralling and the quizzing technique of Mr. Rakshith Shetty was appreciated by the students gathered at the event. Mr. Shailesh Krishna K, Mr. Karthik Prabhu M and Mr. Siddhant Shamlal Yermal of MAPS College Mangalore were declared winners of the Sahyadri Whiz Quiz 2017. The first runners up were Mr. Elvin D’Souza, Mr. Shivaprasad V Bhat and Mr. Nikash R.K of SDM College of Business Management and second runners up were Mr. Vinod Nicholas D’Souza, Mr. Ratul Kamath and Mr. Kaushin Shetty of SDM College of Business Management. The winners were awarded with cash prizes of Rs. 25000/-, Rs.15000/- and Rs.10000/- in the sequence of First, Second and Third Prize.
Tomorrow at Sahyadri
Vectra Geospatial is visiting Sahyadri to conduct pooled campus recruitment drive for the shortlisted candidates in Preliminary round, as part of their final round of selection.
