Anisha Shetty of sixth semester Mechanical Engineering represented India & has won Silver Medal in World Muay Thai competition held at Bangkok.
Perform Group campus recruitment drive
Perform Group visited Sahyadri to conduct an exclusive campus recruitment drive for the engineering students of 2017 batch. Preliminary rounds of interview were conducted, of which twelve Sahyadrians have been shortlisted to attend the further rounds of selection. Ms. Bhavya, HR, Perform Group was at the campus to facilitate the entire recruitment process.

Manasvi S, a student of second semester Computer Science Engineering is a National Athlete. She was a gold medalist in 200m race organized by Vidya Bharati Athletics Meet held in the year 2011. She had also participated in School Game Federation of India - SGFI in Volleyball (2014) & Athletics (2011).

In Sahyadri, I was involved in key assignments which included hosting training presentations for the Civil Class of year 2016, Coordinating placement drives for corporate, Heading the Publicity Team for Google Student Community. I had won first place for the "Akyana Debate" Competition during the year 2015. Let me take a moment to congratulate, the Chairman, Mr. Manjunath Bhandary and all the shareholders, for the recent NAAC Accreditation. Sahyadri is now more than ever soaring to greater heights. This is Fantastic!
I would like to thank the Principal, Dr. Umesh M Bhushi, for teaching us with inspiring examples and Prof. Rashmi Bhandary, for bringing some of the best-in-class companies to the campus. Team Challengers positioned 6th in SAE International Aerodesign West at Fort Worth, Texas
Team Challengers participated in SAE International Aerodesign West held at Fort Worth, Texas and secured 6th position in micro class category. The team comprised of Probid J Panikkan, Gerald K Antony, Gouse Khan, Amrutha Khandare, Midhun Jyothis, Pranamya, Shilpa, Shwetha and Mohammad Anwar. The team is now geared up to participate in SAE International Aerodesign East to be held at Florida in the month of April 2017.
SAE international Aerodesign is conducted by Lockheed Martin and Dassault system and 75 teams all over the world participate in this competition every year.

• A technical talk has been organized on "Strengthening building structures in seismic areas - from a sustainable perspective," at Ground floor Seminar Hall for M.Tech and pre-final year Civil Engineering students by Dr. Paloma Pineda, Vice-Dean of Research at the School of Architecture of the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain) and Associate Professor at the Department of Building Structures and Geotechnical Engineering.
