Alembic Pharmaceuticals pooled campus recruitment drive

Alembic Pharmaceuticals pooled campus recruitment drive Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited conducted a pooled campus recruitment drive at Sahyadri Campus for the MBA students. Mr. Chandrahas Shetty, Senior Vice President, Corporate HR, Mr. Viren Doshi, Manager –HR, Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited were present at the campus to facilitate the recruitment drive. 130 students from pool colleges were part of the drive. The drive began with a pre-placement talk by Mr. Viren followed by an aptitude test. Thirty-eight students have been shortlisted for the personal interview round.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited established in 1907, is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in India. The publicly listed entity manufactures and markets generic pharmaceutical products across the globe.

Amazon India pooled campus recruitment drive

Amazon India pooled campus recruitment drive Amazon India visited Sahyadri to conduct pooled campus recruitment drive for the graduates from 2016 passed out batch, hiring for the position of Seller Support Associate & Transaction Risk Investigator. 127 candidates were part of the recruitment process, of which thirteen have been shortlisted by the company to attend the further rounds of selection.

Civil Engineering Student clears GATE-2017

Mr. Jeethan Grinal Rodrigues of Semester Eight, from the department of Civil Engineering has cleared the GATE-2017 examination with a score of 33.62 / 100. He has been recruited by Advance Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. in the recently held pooled campus recruitment drive.

Navaneet A Shetty, student of Mechanical Engineering is a Karate Champion. He is a ‘BLACK BELT’ in Karate and has won Bronze medal in Kata (a form of Karate) & Kumite (a form of Karate) held at National open Karate tournament.

Sahyadrians one among the Top Eight in International Event at IIT – Kanpur

Sahyadrians one among the Top Eight in International Event at IIT – Kanpur Our students participated in the “Techkriti” event held at IIT Kanpur with active participation in two events namely Manoeuvre and IARC.

Manoeuvre was an event in which the participating team was required to build two manually controlled robots capable of picking blocks from one part of the arena and stacking them up in the other part of the arena. IARC was an international event that witnessed teams from Nepal and Bangladesh. Sahyadri Team had the pleasure of being one among the top eight in the International finals.

Sahyadrians won the” Best Technical Innovation Award” at NIT Jamshedpur

Sahyadrians won the” Best Technical Innovation Award” at NIT Jamshedpur A Team of our First year engineering students, Pro-Motors, accompanied by Mr. Gautham Nayak, Technical Trainer, DTlabz participated in a Three Day Technical fest, OJASS’17 held at National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur. Our students took part in the events, Tachyon (Line follower) and Shape Shifter. Shape Shifter required the participants to build a robot which can traverse in different arenas, pick and place objects based on the problem statement. The team was successful in completing the task and thus won the “Best Technical Innovation Award” for their creative work of building the robot. It was the only robot which operated wirelessly amongst all the robots of other teams from various NIT’s and IIT’s.
