Vantage Agora pooled campus recruitment drive
Vantage Agora visited Sahyadri to conduct pooled campus recruitment drive for the engineering students of 2017 batch as part of their hiring activity. Mr. Jagadish Shetty, Head of H R and Capital Administration, Vantage Agora accompanied by panelists on the recruitment team were at the campus to facilitate the entire process. 266 students from pool colleges were part of the recruitment drive, of which fifty one have been shortlisted for final round of selection.
Tech Mahindra pooled campus recruitment drive
Tech Mahindra visited Sahyadri to conduct pooled campus recruitment drive for the engineering students of 2017 batch as part of their hiring activity. Mr. Nayeem Shariff, Tech Mahindra accompanied by panelist on the recruitment team were at the campus to facilitate the entire process. Seventy three students from pool colleges were part of the recruitment drive, of which twenty six have been shortlisted for final round of selection.

Monisha Tarkar, second semester student of the department of Computer Science & Engineering is a National level Basketball player. She was part of the Basketball team that won 2nd place in 42nd Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan National Sports Meet. She has also participated in several competitions at State & National Level.

Sahyadrians qualified to top 8 at
IIT- Roorkee
A Team of our First year engineering students participated in the robotics event; Cyborg-Breakin and Robosepian held at IIT Roorkee and was qualified to top 8 among the 25 participating teams. In the event, Cyborg breakin the team had to build an autonomous bot and manual bot where one bot had to collect beans and another had to release beans in 3 zones, while Robosapien was an event, wherein the teams had to build bots which had to be a line follower and a wall follower. Our students were accompanied by Ms. Nisha, Assistant Professor from the department of Electronics & Communication engineering and Mr. Santhosh, Sahyadri Edu Dreamers R&D Pvt. Ltd.

Sahyadri Boys Volleyball team emerged as Champions in the VTU inter collegiate Mangaluru Zone Volleyball Tournament for the sixth consecutive time. The tournament was held at VCET, Puttur.
